The purpose of Hampton Cove Middle School STEAM Team is to develop a passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) in ourselves and in those around us, through participation in competitive STEAM events, leadership training and community service.
We are a multi-disciplinary STEAM competition team of 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Hampton Cove Middle School in Huntsville, Alabama. We compete in 5 major events: Future City, FTC Robotics, Greenpower F24 Racing, Science Olympiad and Technology Student Association. Our goal is to provide positive STEAM experiences to as many students as possible, and gain a strong foundation of science and technology skills for the future.
